The final project for 810 studio was a small dwelling for sleeping, washing, cooking, eating, working, and displaying/using a fetishized object. In this case, the fetishized object was a collection of hand planers. Given the owner’s fetish, the dwelling is entirely made of wood. The exterior utilizes Shou Sugi Ban which is juxtaposed against a white-washed interior.
