McCaw/Budsberg – Current Projects intern opportunity! This internship pays $900 for 90 hours over the semester, starting as soon as possible. We are currently in the R&D phase of a new exhibition design for the Chipstone Foundation and the Milwaukee Art Museum, and collaborating with Chris Cornelius, an Indigenous architect based in New Mexico. The redesigned space will hold a new collection of contemporary Indigenous ceramics (from the Chipstone collection) and will include audio, video, and changing light components. We’ll soon be starting a prototype of a section of the space, so a new intern would likely be helping with that. We also have numerous other design and fabrication projects going on, plus the usual studio improvements which could all use the support of a helpful and enthusiastic intern.
