Rising juniors and seniors, you can help design the future! NAF Future Ready Scholars at UW-Milwaukee will spend two weeks this summer engaging in hands-on, design, engineering, and construction experiential learning. With guidance from UWM faculty, college teaching assistants, community partners, and STEM professionals, campers will delve into how engineering and architecture are used in the real world.
Campers will design, engineer, and construct a community pavilion. Additionally, they will participate in college and career readiness sessions that will put them on a path toward post-secondary success, through ACT/SAT prep, resume writing, career panels, and job training opportunities. All rising juniors and seniors are eligible to apply! The application process will launch in March.
Fees for the camp are fully paid for by a special student award from NAF and MKE partners. In addition, a stipend will be offered to the scholars upon successful completion of the program.
