Exhibition Summary

Supreme Privacy offers an investigation into the spatial and architectural legacies of a series of seven landmark Supreme Court cases, beginning with Griswold v. Connecticut (1965) and ending with Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022). The evolving interpretation of a constitutional right to privacy implicates the ordinary buildings and spaces that serve as backdrops to our daily lives.
