The lecture will cover the UN-Habitat’s New Urban Agenda, new research on public space and resilience, economic vitality, quality of life, and sustainable urban development. Dr. Mehaffy will give special focus to effective tools and strategies for implementation

BIO

Dr. Mehaffy, Ph.D., is a researcher, author, educator, urban planner, designer, and strategic development consultant with an international practice. He was a consultant to UN-Habitat for the Habitat III conference and its outcome document, The New Urban Agenda, and he has consulted for governments, businesses and NGOs on its implementation and related topics.

AICP-CM credits will be awarded.
