Bio

Gerri Witthuhn is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Architecture & Urban Planning (SARUP) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), where she teaches the Arch 390/790 Portfolio course.

Located in Portland, OR, she runs the architectural design firm Construction Paper Studio, specializing in ADUs (accessory dwelling units), residential remodels, fostering housing density. She also works as a design associate with INTERSTICE Architects, a multi-disciplinary, San Francisco based studio that designs sustaining places, from architectural, landscape, urban, and those in-between.

Her interests revolve around sustainable design through the approach of building science driven detailing and construction that preserves the resilience of the built environment.
