Bio

Allyson Nemec, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, is Principal Design Architect practicing at Quorum Architects, Milwaukee, and an Adjunct Professor at UWM. Allyson has a diverse academic and professional background. Her studies in Architectural History and professional experience in historic preservation architecture make her well-suited for teaching and designing contextual new construction, preservation, renovation and adaptive re-use projects. Allyson has been involved in the design of new construction, adaptive reuse and renovation of historic structures for over 25 years. Allyson’s honors and awards include AIA Wisconsin Gold Award laureate in 2018, Milwaukee Business Journal Woman of Influence in 2017, UW Milwaukee Alumni Distinguished Service Awardee in 2014, and Milwaukee Business Journal 40 under 40. Allyson is a graduate of the AIA Leadership Institute and Future Milwaukee.
