Bio

Cynthia E. Anderson is a PhD candidate (ABD) in Architecture and adjunct faculty at SARUP. She is trained in Landscape Architecture and was awarded the Landscape Architecture Faculty Prize at The Ohio State University. With her LARCH colleagues, Cindy has been recognized in urban design competitions for Tampa and Indianapolis. Cindy’s current research work examines the cultural landscapes of urban agriculture and the how the intersection of the objectives of organizations sponsoring urban agriculture programs and growers shape the built environment in the city. Cindy turned to landscape architecture after a corporate business career with positions of executive responsibility in the US and Puerto Rico and internationally in the Switzerland, Israel, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
