Erin Besler // Besler & Sons

BIO

Erin Besler is co-founder of Besler & Sons, an office based in New Jersey that designs buildings, objects, videos, software, and exhibitions, seeks to expand the definition of architecture and create new audiences and opportunities for social engagement. Besler is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Princeton University and was recently awarded the Founders Rome Prize in architecture from the American Academy in Rome, the Young Architects Prize by the Architectural League of New York, and a 2019 United States Artists Fellowship in Architecture & Design. Besler & Sons’ book Best Practices: A Companion to Architecture and Its Messy Relationship with Building Materials, Signage Systems, Communication Equipment, Plant Life, and People was published in 2021 by Applied Research and Design Publishing.
