Your University Housing Contract

When you submit your contract, you’re not just choosing your room preferences and a meal plan. You’re also agreeing to the terms and conditions in the University Housing Residence Hall Contract. Be sure to read this contract, as it includes important information regarding:

Key Dates

May 1, 2021 Deadline for contracts to be completed in order to be eligible for the first room assignment lottery. First possible payment deadline of your Housing Deposit of $100. If you were, or still are a minor, who submitted a contract online, the Contract Signature Page form mailed to you must be submitted by this date.

June 1, 2021 July 1, 2021 Contracts must be canceled before this date, if students wish to recoup $50 of their $100 deposit.

June 4, 2021 July 9, 2021 The first batch of assignments (for those who completed their contracts by the May 1 priority deadline) will begin to be released via the MyHousing website on a rolling basis. Students use their MyHousing account to access their room and roommate assignment, as well as their move-in appointment.

July 12, 2021 A Move-In Guide with instructions for Move-In will be provided to each student with a completed contract this week.

Aug. 1, 2021 Your eligibility status will be checked on August 1 for Semester I entries. If you are not enrolled, University Housing reserves the right to administratively cancel your Contract due to ineligibility. Deadline for Early Arrival Applications to be submitted (for those students required to be on campus prior to their otherwise assigned Move-In time).

Aug. 26, 2021 Deadline for Contract Cancellation. If your Assigned Entry Date is on or before August 26, you must submit a contract cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your Assigned Entry Date.

Aug. 28-31, 2021 Semester I Move-In Dates.

Sep. 2, 2021 Expected due date for 100% of Room and Meal Plan Charges for the Semester.

Sep. 2, 2021 First day of class.

Dec. 1, 2021 Deadline for Semester II contracts to be completed in order to be eligible for the first room assignment lottery. Contracts must be canceled before this date, if students wish to recoup $50 of their $100 deposit.

Jan. 7, 2022 First batch of spring assignments (for those who completed their contracts by the Dec. 1 priority deadline) are typically released via the MyHousing website after 12 p.m. Students use their MyHousing account to access their room and roommate assignment, as well as their Move-In appointment.

Jan. 21, 2022 Deadline for Contract Cancellation. If your Assigned Entry Date is on or before January 21, you must submit a contract cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your Assigned Entry Date.

Jan. 22, 2022 Semester II Move-In Date.

Jan. 24, 2022 Expected due date for 100% of Room and Meal Plan Charges for the Semester.

Jan. 24, 2022 First day of class.

May 21, 2022 Last day of Residence Hall contract. All Residence Hall residents must vacate no later than 12:00 p.m.

Dates of Entry and Exit

May 22, 2021 Spring 2021 Residence Hall residents must vacate no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon)

May 31, 2021 Spring 2021 Kenilworth Square Apartments residents must vacate no later than 12:00 p.m.

August 28-31, 2021 Fall 2021 Entry for Residence Hall residents

September 1, 2021 Fall 2021 Entry for Kenilworth Square Apartments residents

*Note: The 2021-2022 rates are approved during Summer 2021 by the Board of Regents and will be posted online once approved.
