Your University Housing Contract

When you submit your contract you’re not just choosing your room preferences and a meal plan. You’re also agreeing to the terms and conditions in the University Housing Residence Hall Contract. Be sure to read this contract, as it includes important information regarding:

Key Dates

Dec. 1 Deadline for spring contracts to be completed in order to be eligible for the first room assignment lottery.

Dec. 1 Spring contracts must be canceled before this date, if students wish to recoup $50 of their $100 deposit.

Jan. 1 Your eligibility status will be checked on January 1 for Semester II entries. If you are not enrolled, University Housing reserves the right to administratively cancel your Contract due to ineligibility.

Jan. 8 First batch of spring assignments (for those who completed their contracts by the Dec. 1 priority deadline) are typically released via the MyHousing website after 12 p.m. Students use their MyHousing account to access their room and roommate assignment, as well as their move-in appointment.

Jan. 21 Deadline for Contract Cancellation. If your Assigned Entry Date is on or before January 21, you must submit a contract cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your Assigned Entry Date.

Jan. 23 Semester II Move-In Date.

Jan. 25 Expected due date for 100% of Room and Meal Plan Charges for the Semester.

Jan. 25 First day of class.

May 22 Last day of housing contract. All residents must vacate no later than 12:00 p.m.
