Adam Fehring

Adam Fehring has been associated with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) since 2023, primarily serving as a member of the University Staff at the Center for Advancing Student Learning (CASL). Before joining CASL, Adam served in a variety of student worker roles at his alma mater, the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD). In his role as Business Manager, he provides comprehensive financial, managerial, and operational support, while also overseeing the Center’s marketing initiatives and web development.

Adam leverages his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), to manage CASL’s digital presence, including subsites, campus-facing newsletters, and marketing materials. Beyond his operational duties, he manages workshop registrations and student support staff, maintains critical file documentation, and collaborates with the Executive Director to develop policies that drive the Center’s success. He also plays a vital role in the planning and execution of major events, such as the Teaching and Learning Symposium.

Active in the creative community, Adam serves on the MIAD Alumni Association Board and occasionally volunteers his time teaching Art and Design workshops, offering student support, or helping with local community initiatives.
