Transfer/Articulation Agreements

On this page, you will find the official articulation agreements that UWM has signed with other colleges and universities.  Articulation agreements are formal transfer agreements that specify how credits from a specific associate degree will transfer into a particular bachelor’s degree at UWM.  Agreements are organized according to the UWM college and school under which the academic program falls.  Also included on this page are other forms of transfer agreements, including Memoranda of Understanding (MOU’s) and transfer-out partnerships with external colleges and universities.

Just because a formal articulation agreement may not exist for your intended major doesn’t mean your credits won’t transfer.  UWM accepts a wide range of coursework from other schools, which can be used to fulfill general education, major, and elective requirements.  The Transferring Course Credits page collects dozens of transfer guides from area colleges.  You can also use the Transferology tool to help you determine how your credits will transfer.
