Last week, on July 20^th, the UWM Anthropology Department co-sponsored an event at the Milwaukee Public Museum for Museum Studies current and future students, alumni, and faculty. The program, which is a graduate certificate program under the Anthropology program, teaches students practical knowledge for working in the museum field, including administration, curation and research, exhibit development, and disaster management. This event was held in tandem with the Association of Midwest Museums conference which took place July 19^th-23^rd in Milwaukee.
