The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase individual productivity, reduce business costs, create new business and technological insights and modify business processes is rapidly evolving. These applications are across many business areas including health care, legal, manufacturing, insurance and others.
While the traditional methods of AI/machine learning still apply and can be used to enhance business functions, the rapid expansion of Large Language Models (LLM) and associated functions provide many new opportunities to apply AI to individual and business practices. Through discussion and examples, this course develops the evolution of AI from basic machine learning functions through convolution, generative and transformer methods to LLMs and the Agentic Systems.
The course uses Python to provide many examples of how the AI methods work including the use of an LLM to create code. You will have the opportunity to explore issues of AI application. Knowledge of Python programming is not necessary.
This course can be applied to the following certificates:
AI Python Certificate
Data Analysis – Advanced Certificate
Business Administration Certificate
