Ten undergraduate students participated 2015. They worked in eight different research laboratories in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Over a period of three summer months all students got an excellent inside about the ongoing scientific research and expectations of UWM graduate students. At the end of the program all students presented their work in form of a poster and summarized their work in a scientific written report. Many of these results will be part of future publications. The best poster was presented by Kelsey Holbert

The best poster was presented by Kelsey Holbert, who worked in the Group of Prof. Altstadt. The title of his poster was: Further Development of an Analytical Method: A Continuing Study of the Early Stages of the Maillard Reaction. Kelsey started at UWM in 2010 and selected biochemistry as her major.
