Why I like Chemistry

Chemistry appeals to me, because each homework problem or research project can be a series of confusing puzzles that must be solved to understand the end result. Finally solving those puzzles and getting an end result is very rewarding.

Why I chose the Chemistry and Biochemistry Program at UW-Milwaukee

The groups I looked at when looking for a school had very interesting research that I could see myself enjoying for not only graduate school, but for a career.

Favorite things to do in Milwaukee

Volleyball, Brewers games, Enjoying local restaurants.

Research Goals

To understand vinyl acetate synthesis over Au/Pd(100) alloy single crystal catalysts.
