Why I like Chemistry:

The study of chemistry has been, and continues to be, incredibly rewarding and challenging for me, a challenge I have grown to love as I continually seek to better understand the world around us from the tiniest particles to everyday phenomena.

Why I chose the Chemistry & Biochemistry Program at UW-Milwaukee:

Another great joy of mine, and my first career, is teaching. I always wanted to continue my education towards an advanced degree and UW-Milwaukee offered me the opportunity to combine my love of teaching with my love of Chemistry. I believe learning chemistry can be incredibly empowering when students are able to connect it to their life and real-world experiences. My goal is to help empower students through education.

Favorite things to do in Milwaukee:

Spend time with my family along the lake front and other community activities, walking and running with our family dog, and showing kindness and compassion to my fellow humans.
