Last month, Dr. Emily Middleton and forensics students Jana Plotkin and Lilly Perkins sat down for an interview with WUWM 89.7, Milwaukee’s NPR. Dr. Middleton heads the UWM Center for Forensic Science, which offers certificates in Death Investigation, Forensic Science, and Forensic Toxicology. The program teaches chemistry, biology, anthropology, criminal justice, and criminalistics to provide students with a wide breadth of knowledge when entering forensic science careers post-graduation and additional higher education programs.
