Bettina Arnold presented the keynote lecture at the international conference Être et paraître en Europe. Identité et parures féminines aux âges du Bronze et du Fer in Brussels, Belgium, Thursday, September 17. The conference is sponsored by the Metal Ages in Europe Commission of the International Union of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences. The title of her lecture was “Intersectionality, Personal Ornament and Gender Marking in Early Iron Age Southwest German” and the lecture was held in the evening at the Cercle Royal Gaulois Artistique & Littéraire.
