Last week, from May 7-8, 2022, the Fields of Conflict Conference took place virtually, co-organized by the University of Edinburgh and the University of Barcelona. This year, the event’s featured topics included prehistoric conflict, battlefield tourism, and landscapes of conflict. Among the presenters was UWM PhD student, Paul Moriarity, who presented a paper on his thesis work titled “Community Extermination in Prehistory: An Old World/New World Comparison.”
