Katya Anderson

Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Katya Anderson came to live in America in 2004. Her educational background includes a BA in philosophy and religious studies and an MA in social work from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, one of the oldest academic institutions in Eastern Europe. While studying there, she was inspired by the saying “How many languages you know, that many times you are a person.” Katya is excited to share her culture through teaching language. Having learned two languages herself allows Katya to bring significant insight into teaching. She spends her days homeschooling her four bilingual children.
