Introduction to Working With Trauma

An estimated 70 percent of adults in the United States have experienced a traumatic event at least once in their lives and up to 20 percent of these people go on to develop post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD (sidran.org). Gain skills to help your clients live with the effects of their trauma experience. Learn what it means to work with trauma and how to help your client understand trauma and its effects.

This course can be applied to the Professional Certificate in Human Services.
