The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers tutoring for MthStat 215. This tutoring is staffed by graduate teaching assistants who are studying statistics and/or actuarial science!

Closing Date: The final day of MthStat 215 tutoring will be the last day of classes. The lab will not be open on Study Day or during the final exam period.
The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers an open computer lab for students enrolled in any course using an online learning system (ALEKS, WileyPlus, MyMathlab, ConnectMath, etc.) to work on assignments. There is always a mathematics graduate teaching assistant on hand to offer assistance and/or answer any questions you may have.

Closing Date: The final day of the Online Homework lab will be the last day of classes. The lab will not be open on Study Day nor during the final exam period.
The Calculus Workshop is a dedicated space where students can work on Calculus and Precalculus problems in a collaborative setting with others from across all sections of Math 115, 116, 117, 221, 222, 231, 232, 233, 234 & 240.
Tutors will be available throughout the day to assist students with homework. In addition, help will be available from instructors of these courses holding office hours in the calc workshop at various times of the day!

Closing Date: The Calculus workshop will be open during finals week, so students can work there, but tutoring hours may be unpredictable as tutors are students too so have different schedules during finals week!
Note: Computers are not provided in the Calc workshop. Students seeking assistance with Online homework who need computer access are advised to instead go to the Online Homework lab (described above).
The Mathematical Science Department hires Calc Workshop tutors for Fall and Spring semesters. Tutors must be undergraduates, have completed the Calculus series up to and including 234 (or 240 & 320) with a B or better, and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Panther Access to Student Services (PASS) provides supplemental academic services for many subject areas including math. Tutoring is located in the Golda Meir Library, East Wing, on the 1st floor. Students may go there to sign up for weekly tutoring sessions.
Starting Spring 2017: PASS handles all tutoring for Math courses numbered 211 or lower, with the exception of Math 115, 116, and 117. The Math Sci Department no longer offers walk-in tutoring in the library for Math courses.
