New Walk-in Tutoring Center for Mathematics – centrally located in Bolton 180.
There will be computers available for students seeking assistance on online homework systems (ALEKS, WileyPlus, MyMathlab, ConnectMath, etc.).
However due to the pandemic, during Spring 2021, instead there will be virtual “drop-in” math tutoring, held online in Collaborate Ultra.See the SSC website for hours and to find the link to join the right tutoring “room” for your course: https://uwm.edu/studentsuccess/tutoring-and-supplemental-instruction
This online space will be staffed by both undergraduate tutors and graduate teaching assistants – who will be able to answer questions on online homework for most lower division mathematics courses.
In addition, SSC provides supplemental academic services for many subject areas including most lower division math courses. Students can sign up for weekly small group tutoring by appointment for most math classes, on the SSC website.

The Calculus Workshop
The Calculus Workshop is a dedicated space where students can work on Calculus and Precalculus problems in a collaborative setting with others from across all sections of Math 115, 116, 117, 221, 222, 231, 232, 233, 234 & 240.
In addition, help will be available from instructors of these courses holding office hours in the calculus workshop at various times of the day!

Note: Computers are not provided in the Calculus workshop. Students seeking assistance with Online homework who need computer access are advised to instead go to the Math Walk-in Tutoring Center in Bolton 180.
