Summer 2020 hours:
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
This online space will be staffed by both undergraduate tutors and graduate teaching assistants – who will be able to answer questions on online homework for most lower division mathematics courses. There will be computers available for students seeking assistance on online homework systems (ALEKS, WileyPlus, MyMathlab, ConnectMath, etc.).
To access, all summer Math instructors have been provided a link to the room, which they will post on their Canvas sites— (students who can’t find the link please email your instructor).
In addition, SSC provides supplemental academic services for many subject areas including most lower division math courses. Students can sign up for weekly small group tutoring by appointment for most math classes, on the SSC website. The main exception is that
Calculus 231, 232, & 233 students are encouraged to work (individually or in groups) with calculus instructors in the Calculus Workshop in Physics 326 (see below for hours).
MthStat 215 tutoring is separate and will continue to be located in Physics 328 (see below for hours).

MthStat 215 Tutoring
The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers tutoring for MthStat 215. This tutoring is staffed by graduate teaching assistants who are studying statistics and/or actuarial science!

The Calculus Workshop
The Calculus Workshop is a dedicated space where students can work on Calculus and Precalculus problems in a collaborative setting with others from across all sections of Math 115, 116, 117, 221, 222, 231, 232, 233, 234 & 240.
In addition, help will be available from instructors of these courses holding office hours in the calculus workshop at various times of the day!
