Special Topics Seminars

Mathematical Sciences conducts seminars in special topics each semester. Special Topics Seminars are research oriented. Participants present their research or follow a new research topic of their particular interest. The instructors listed with each seminar are responsible for organizing the seminars, and do not provide instruction. Instead, seminars are conducted more or less like a group meeting in which the whole lab or a group of researchers meet to discuss a paper, a research topic, or to learn and share new concepts.

Special Topics Seminars are not mandatory for earning a degree, except for the two teaching seminars. No registration is required.

Contact the faculty member in charge of each section for details and to enroll in a seminar.
