Dr. Arnold’s lab received $33,333 for their project entitled  “Identification of GABAA receptor modulators that reduce TSLP production by keratinocytes.” The goal is to develop new oral drugs for inflammatory skin disorders which are linked to the occurrence of asthma later in life. By treating skin disorders early, they hope to halt the progression to lung inflammation.
