Biochemistry junior Taylor Wilcox receives Outstanding Presentation Award

The 13th Undergraduate Research Symposium celebrates the collaborations of UWM undergraduate students with our larger research community. This year, presentations were submitted by 260 UWM students who were mentored by more than 180 of UWM’s faculty and research staff including Taylor Wilcox mentored by Prof. Arnold.

Taylor has been part of the Arnold Group for about two years, developing of new treatments for neuropathic pain based on imidazodiazepines. For her contribution she received the Outstanding Presentation Award together with 15 students from various UWM Departments. Taylor wants to go to Medical School and complete a MD-PhD degree. Her current research area of drug discovery and development is closely related to medicine.
