Manuel Carrero

Manuel Carrero holds a master’s degree in fine arts, graphic design and education. He worked in the advertising field as a graphic designer for fifteen years, and also taught design and various genres of art.

Mr. Carrero is a native Spanish teacher who loves his language and the illustrious culture of Spain, which material he uses in immersion programs. Folklore, music, food, and his artistic skills help guide his students to a greater understanding and appreciation for the nation and the language.

Manuel spent six years in Florida teaching Spanish as a substitute teacher for the Sarasota County School System. In addition, he directed annual summer art camps for children and adults while tutoring adults privately.

Manuel’s originality and teaching methods easily transmit into zeal for Spain and its language inspiring students to continue in their pursuit of mastery of Spanish.
