Engrith Rivera

Engrith Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus with a major in teaching English to Spanish speakers and a minor in English literature. Engrith completed her master’s at Concordia University with a major in school administration and curriculum and instruction.

Engrith has worked as a middle and high school teacher for 10-plus years, starting  in Puerto Rico and continuing with her move to Milwaukee in 2015. She has taught and supported the ESL and bilingual programs at the high schools and has been a robotics coach, instructional coach/school support teacher and director of the career program called NAF (National Academy Foundation).

She is part of the Milwaukee AHEC team working closely with leadership and the departmental team to aid in the efficient rollout, coordination and evaluation of one of their programs and their Spanish initiative. She is excited to use her native language and curriculum background within her role.
