Alaina Brandt

Currently based in Mexico City, Alaina Brandt holds a Master of Arts in Language, Literature, and Translation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Spanish and English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, as well as studying abroad at the Universidad de Valladolid, Spain.

With over eight years of experience in adult education, Brandt has taught English and job skills to immigrants in Eau Claire, WI, and served as a professor and consultant at institutions such as the Monterey Institute and UW-Milwaukee. As the Membership Secretary of ASTM F43 on Language Services and Products, she contributes to international standards in language education.

Alaina excels in teaching live online, hybrid and traditional courses, integrating reflective learning, defining key terminology and incorporating practical activities to create inclusive learning environments that prioritize accessibility in her teaching.
