In this course, you will explore and review the elements of being trauma-informed from the leadership and supervisor perspective. Learn to strengthen the work environment by using trauma-informed tools and practices to help reduce symptoms of burnout and improve mental wellness. Engage in discussions surrounding supervision, servant leadership and holding individuals accountable. Practice new skills through role playing exercises to demonstrate the supervisor/supervisee relationship with your peers and instructor. This course is appropriate for new supervisors and those considering supervision, as well as a refresher for seasoned supervisors.
