Spanish for Educators: Part II

This course, a direct follow up to Spanish for Educators I, is designed to further develop the communication skills of beginning Spanish language learners in an educational environment, which are essential for effectively engaging with Spanish-speaking students and their parents. Emphasis is on basic communication skills associated with real-life situations, the classroom environment, student praise and encouragement, school personnel and school terminology.

By the end of the course, participants will have acquired specialized vocabulary, valuable tools and enhanced communication skills in Spanish. These outcomes enable participants to effectively engage with Spanish-speaking students and parents, creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment within schools.

This class is specifically designed for teachers, administrative support, counselors, nurses, instructional aides, librarians, resource officers and coaches.
