Spanish for Educators I
Spanish for Educators focuses on developing communication skills in Spanish to successfully engage with Spanish-speaking students and parents. Educators who are beginning Spanish language learners are instructed on how to communicate with English language learners and their parents. Emphasis is on basic communication skills associated with real-life situations, the classroom environment, student praise and encouragement, school personnel and school terminology.
Participants delve into a wide range of vocabulary encompassing all aspects of a student’s academic journey, spanning from kindergarten enrollment to high school graduation. Through immersive practice, individuals develop proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading and writing Spanish.
This class is specifically designed for teachers, administrative support, counselors, nurses, instructional aides, librarians, resource officers and coaches.
