Jay Beder, PhD 1981, Statistics, 6 PhD students, 23 publications with 37 citations, 2 undergraduate teaching awards, served as Assistant Chair and was active on the Undergraduate Committee.

Yi Ming Zou, PhD 1991, Algebra, 5 PhD students, 37 publications with 113 citations, served as Graduate Program Coordinator and was active on the Graduate Committee.

 Hans Volkmer, PhD 1979, Analysis, 4 PhD students, 134 publications with 475 citations.
