“Bestvina–Brady groups are subgroups of right-angled Artin groups, and they satisfy quartic Dehn functions. There are examples of Bestvina–Brady groups whose Dehn functions are linear, quadratic, cubic, and quartic. It is natural to ask whether all Bestvina–Brady groups have polynomial Dehn functions. In this talk, I will discuss my recent results that answer this question partially.”
