UW-Milwaukee Mathematical Sciences Ph.D. candidate, Chudamani Poudyal, was awarded the first place presentation prize at the 52nd Actuarial Research Conference (ARC) held at Georgia State University.
The Education & Research Section Council awarded prizes for the six best presentations. Poudyal was awarded the first place prize for his talk “T-Estimation for Insurance Loss Data” at the 2017 ARC.
The ARC is the main annual meeting for North American academics and researchers interested in all aspects of actuarial science.
