Join the Electa Quinney Institute, Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, and Women’s Resource Center for an afternoon of empowerment! We will be making valentines with the Brewcity Bruisers Roller Derby team to send out to the community. The Franciscan Peacemakers will be joining us later in the afternoon for a Diverse Ideas conversation about their work in the community through their shop, Gifts for the Journey, which provides space for women who are survivors of human trafficking to gain financial independence by crafting and selling handmade soaps, lotions, and candles.
