Conscientious Movement Practice

Join us for an evening of bringing awareness to how you move your body. We will explore how active breathing, purposeful stretching, and conscientious movement can improve the way you carry yourself in the world. We’ll work to learn ways to positively exist in your body. The program, hosted in partnership with the UWM Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center will explore stretching, breathing, muscle engagement and disengagement, constructive rest, and intuitive movement patterns, specifically with the LGBTQ+ experience in mind.
