Sent to True Directions, a gay conversion camp under the wicked watch of Mary Brown, who promises to have Megan saying “straight is great” in no time-yet Megan is oddly drawn to rebellious Graham. The cult fervor for this early 2000s video store queer favorite remains as strong as ever thanks to its streaks of black humor, John Waters inspired aesthetic and color palette, and sincere performances from its romantic leads.
