Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) Membership
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UWM is a membership-based department of the School of Continuing Education for adults who want to enhance their lives by participating in dynamic learning programs in a fun, welcoming community.
As a member of OLLI at UWM you can take short courses, go on local tours, attend special events, join an informal interest group, network at social events and participate in educational travel adventures. These rich and varied learning experiences are tailored to meet the varied interests of members and include topics such as literature, art, history, language, politics, science and more.
Who can join?
Any adult who has a passion for learning can join. OLLI is for people of all educational backgrounds. You do not need to be a college graduate, a UWM graduate or otherwise associated with a university. There are numerous benefits to becoming a member from meeting other like-minded people to learning a new subject. Joining is the perfect way to expand your knowledge while meeting new people.
How much does a membership cost?
The membership year runs from September 1 to August 31, and the annual membership fee is $45 for an individual and $80 for a couple. A couple is any two individuals living at the same address (whether spouses, siblings or partners).
Membership fees are prorated as the year progresses. From December 1 to March 31, membership fees are $30 for an individual and $50 for a couple. From April 1 to June 30, membership fees are $15 for an individual and $20 for a couple. Memberships purchased July 1 through November 30 are the full rate and expire on August 31 the following year.
