Rick Rocamora

Rick Rocamora was a power systems engineer for Cooper Power Systems for 41 years and retired in 2015. Rick visited China frequently between 1995 and 2005. From 2005 to 2015, Rick worked and lived for 10 years in China, setting up and managing Cooper’s China business.  He was responsible for the firm’s entire Asia Pacific Market. In September 2015, Rick returned to Milwaukee from Shanghai.  Rick and his wife, Joan, studied Chinese language, history and culture and traveled all over China, including Xinjiang on two separate occasions. Rick has a BSEE from Rutgers University and an MSEE from the University of Pittsburgh in power engineering.
