Heather Thomas Flores

Heather Thomas Flores is the operations and project manager for Life After Hate, Inc. She holds a Master of Science in cultural anthropology as well as a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  Heather received her Bachelor of Arts in international studies and Spanish with a certificate in peace building and mediation from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee. In her personal, academic and professional life, Heather works to identify the power dynamics and systemic oppression of racism with the intent to promote equity through education. She also works to find solutions to address discriminatory practices affecting underserved communities. She has a background in education and international development and specializes in program development and professional development training.
