Greg Bisbee

Greg Bisbee was an enthusiastic teacher of high school biological and physical sciences for 35 years and is currently the Environmental Education Coordinator and Director of Field Studies for University Lake School in Hartland, Wisconsin. A casual, backyard birder, he has been a member of WSO for many years and has served on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Education Committee since 2020. Greg was in the first class of the UW-Madison Arboretum’s Earth Partnership for Schools program where he was introduced to prairies and ecological restoration—he’s been an advocate for native ecosystems ever since. He enjoys working with native and restored prairies and woodlands and walking with his wife, Pam, and their two Great Pyrenees, Molly and Bear.
