Wisconsin Foundations of Reading Test Support
UWM’s School of Education can help you with test preparations for the Wisconsin Foundations of Reading Test (WIFoRT).
Participants receive materials that include an overview of the WIFoRT, strategies for analyzing and answering test questions, and strategies for studying for this high-stakes test.

Course Outline/Topics
Enrollment is limited, and current UWM students receive priority. Confirmed registration is required prior to attending sessions. Test preparation opportunities are designed to support those seeking a teacher’s license in these areas:
- Kindergarten (K4) to Grade 9
- Reading teacher – initial license only
- Special education
- Reading specialist – initial license only
