What’s the Chance?

Gr. 6-12

In this course, students will develop a greater understanding of probability and statistics – two areas of mathematics that easily transfer from the classroom to the real world. Conduct experiments and generate data which they then display in graphs, charts and tables to compare the effects of particular variables. Students will also explore probability and the study of chance to learn how to use numerical data to predict future events.
