Latin American Stories: Real and Unreal

Literary magical realism has flowed out of Latin America in the past century. In this course, we will sample a few short stories (from authors, including Cortazar, Fuentes, Allende and Garcia-Marquez) which suggest that there may be more to reality than what is “real.”
