Eva Hagenhofer

While raising her children, Hagenhofer completed a B.S. in Adult Literacy, left factory work and began teaching. After earning a master’s degree focused on Multicultural Education, she wrote curricula and taught writing, literature and urban education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Now retired, Hagenhofer is focused on nurturing six grandchildren, several gardens and social justice. Published writings include poetry chapbooks, children’s books, essays, interviews and several academic articles on rural service learning and urban education.
