Make your own jewelry and metal objects as you explore metal, stone setting and moving metal in this unique art class! Basic techniques of metalworking are covered including cutting, drilling, texturing, shaping, with a potential for soldering. You learn to work with copper, brass and sterling silver. Add amazing faceted stones and cabochons to accent your jewelry. Craft a ring, pendant and more.
This course can be applied to the Art & Design Certificate Track.
