Come From Away: A 911 Story
On 9/11, for the first time ever, the FAA shut down all of US airspace. Inbound flights from Europe were diverted to Canada and 38 of the planes landed in Gander, Newfoundland. In 2017, these events became the backdrop for the Tony Award winning musical, “Come From Away.” This course will explore both the Broadway production as well as the drama that unfolded in the skies over America.
