Drawing Into Print/Experimental Studio Process
Gr. 10-12
Drawing into Print
High School students, if you like to draw, you will love to translate your drawings into printmaking and make multiples of each image. This weeklong course will give students a chance to enhance their drawing skills and take those drawings into a printmaking studio, learning skills like monoprint, dry point/etching, and stencil-making. Make more than one image of your favorite drawings! This course is team-taught by two award-winning Peck School of the Arts, Art and Design faculty, Kimberly Cosier and Josie Osborne.
1-Week PSOA Class
Experimental Studio
Students will participate in both collaborative and independent projects that explore a wide range of materials and experimental processes. We’ll draw inspiration from exciting contemporary art and artmaking practices to create works that explore big ideas in an open and encouraging environment.
1-Week PSOA Class
This course can be applied to the Art & Design Certificate Track.
