Intro to Painting – ArtsECO – Art & Design Core Course (Week One)
For high school students interested in painting and/or are looking to build their portfolio, this painting class is for you. We will explore various water-based painting techniques and strategies. This class addresses formal painting concepts mixed with contemporary approaches to the genre while having fun experimenting and getting creative.
Advanced Painting – ArtsECO – Art & Design Core Course (Week Two)
This course expands and cultivates explorations into paint and painting. We explore experimental painting techniques and non-normative paint applications and surfaces. We look at drawing, printmaking and collage and how to utilize those practices within the language of painting.
This course can be applied to the Art & Design Certificate Track.
